Dr. Michael Posey is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science and completed medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1975. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baptist Memorial Hospital in 1978. Dr. Posey practiced emergency medicine from 1978 to 1980 and then entered private practice in 1980. The preventive lab tests offered through MDVIP from Cleveland Heart Lab and Berkley Heart Lab moved this preventative approach to its highest level. Other tests offered provide preventative management regarding various diseases in gastroenterology, hepatology, nephrology, and oncology. This is coupled with a one-to-one relationship in the office as long as needed or via cell phone to prevent unnecessary emergency room visits.
